Freedomland is excited to announce their new, very own charity program, Bamboo Mind Foundation.

    We recognise the acute lack of general education for families at the bottom end of society in Phu Quoc, let alone the possibility of learning English to later improve employment prospects of their children.

    Therefore our program will provide English lessons in small groups to children of the poorest families around Ong Lang free of charge, with the first 3 month term taught by volunteer Linda Sim (AUS). One child of each group, selected based on his/her commitment and excellence in studying, will further receive funding for one whole year of schooling in their community school with all costs covered!

    To fund this scholarship program, Freedomland will from now on donate 10% of all income from accommodation and food/drinks to support the fundraising! Furthermore there will be occasional fundraising events, all in a beautiful relaxed setting, with good vibes and socialising, to generate funds.

    Last but not least we welcome individual donations from anyone who would like to contribute to this fantastic new project! To kickstart the fundraising Freedomland has promised to donate a generous 1.000.000 VND .
